Who
may use The FollicareŽ System?
The FollicareŽ System for
Men may be used by males 18 and older.
Who
should NOT use the FollicareŽ System?
Children under 18 years of
age should not use The FollicareŽ System. The FollicareŽ
System will not prevent hair loss which may occur with the
use of some prescription and non-prescription medications,
certain severe nutritional problems, chemotherapy, or
scarring of the scalp. If you are unsure of the reason for
your hair loss, you should consult your doctor before use.
Will The FollicareŽ System work
for me?
In an independent pilot
clinical trial, all subjects using The FollicareŽ System
noted a slowing of hair loss and new hair growth within the
first or second month of treatment. 50% of the participants
noted new frontal hair growth at the end of the six month
trial. The amount of hair regrowth is different for each
person. Men who have not had success with other hair
regrowth programs, have reported marked results using the
FollicareŽ System.
How soon can I expect results from
using The FollicareŽ System?
Since normal hair usually
grows only 1/2 to 1 inch per month, hair regrowth with The
FollicareŽ System also takes some time. First, you should
notice less hair loss (less hair in the sink, or on your
pillow). Second, you should notice new hair growth.
If The FollicareŽ System is
working, what will the new hair look like?
At first, hair growth may be
soft, downy, lighter color hair. After further use, the new
hair should be the same color and thickness as the other
hairs on your scalp.
How long do I need to use the FollicareŽ System?
You will start to see results
after just 8 weeks of using the product. New hair growth
will be fine at that time. You will also notice at this time
that you are not losing nearly as much hair as you had been
prior to using FollicareŽ. After six to twelve months of
continued use as directed, you will be able to see your best
results. As with any product that is correcting an unwanted
condition, continued use will be needed to maintain the
results you desire and continue the hair growth process.
What happens if I completely stop
using The FollicareŽ System?
Continuous use of The
FollicareŽ System is needed to maintain hair regrowth. If
you completely stop using The FollicareŽ System, your
natural hair loss process will probably cause you to lose
your newly regrown hair over a period of time, and the hair
loss cycle you had experienced will resume.
How long will a bottle of FollicareŽ
All Natural Topical Spray last?
Each bottle of FollicareŽ
All Natural Topical Spray contains 2 ounces, and should last
25-30 days when used as directed.
Can I use The FollicareŽ System
more than twice a day? Will it work faster or better?
No. FollicareŽ will not work
faster or better if used more than directed. Healthy hair
takes time to grow.
What will I experience when
using The FollicareŽ System All Natural Topical Spray?
The FollicareŽ All Natural
Topical Spray contains peppermint oil, which can cause a
mild tingling sensation. Users have reported this effect to
decrease after one or two weeks of continuous use. In
addition, when you first start using FollicareŽ, you may
see some reddening of the scalp and feel a slight heat
sensation. This will dissipate after approximately 30
minutes. This minor discomfort is for a good reason! It is
the result of increased blood flow in the area that is
bringing necessary nutrients to the hair follicle to help
you grow new hair. After a few days of use, these slight
symptoms will become much less noticeable.
What
are the most common side effects from using The FollicareŽ
System?
The FollicareŽ All natural
Topical Spray contains ingredients which may cause burning
or irritation of the eyes or sensitive skin areas. If
FollicareŽ accidentally gets into these areas, rinse with
large amounts of cool tap water. Contact your doctor if
irritation persists.
If you combine The FollicareŽ
All Natural Topical Spray with the Extra Strength 5%
Minoxidil you may experience those side effects related to
minoxidil use. Please read the instructions and precautions
in the minoxidil package.
The
FollicareŽ System contains two topical solutions. The All
Natural Topical Spray, and the Extra Strength 5% Minoxidil.
Does the FollicareŽ System alter, or change the way
minoxidil works?
No. The rest of the FollicareŽ
system (All Natural Topical Spray, Nutritional Supplement,
and Nutrient Shampoo) does not in any way change, or alter
the effect of the Extra Strength 5% Minoxidil (packaged
separately).
What
happens if I choose not to use the Extra Strength 5%
Minoxidil?
For optimal results, we
encourage you to use all components although many men have
experienced great results without it.
Can I use hair sprays, mousse, or
conditioner along with The FollicareŽ System?
There is no need to change
your usual hair care routine when using The FollicareŽ
System, however, you should apply FollicareŽ before
applying styling aids. It is recommended that you let your
hair air dry for 5 - 10 minutes before blow drying.
Follicare can be adapted into your hair styling regime. You
need to find the one that works best for you.
Can I have my hair colored or
permed or use hair relaxers while using FollicareŽ?
We have no information that
these treatments change the effect of FollicareŽ. To avoid
possible scalp irritation, you should make sure all of the
FollicareŽ solution has been washed off the hair and scalp
before using these chemicals.
What if I miss an application, or
forget to use The FollicareŽ System?
If you miss one or two daily
doses of The FollicareŽ System, just continue with your
next dose. You should not make up for missed applications.
Can I apply the FollicareŽ All
Natural Topical Spray and wash my hair an hour later?
Yes, but for The FollicareŽ
All Natural Topical Spray to work best, you should allow it
to remain on the scalp for about 4 hours before washing.
Can I work out, go swimming, or go
out in the rain?
If possible, apply FollicareŽ
All Natural Topical Spray to a dry scalp after swimming, or
wait about 4 hours after application before going swimming.
If you are going to work out and sweat, wear a headband to
prevent sweat from running into your eyes. Use proper
precautions.
Can
I use The FollicareŽ System for baldness or hair loss in
babies or children?
No. The FollicareŽ System
must not be used to treat baldness or hair loss in babies or
children.
Are there any special warnings
about the use of the FollicareŽ All Natural Topical Spray?
No. The FollicareŽ All Natural Topical Spray does not
contain minoxidil. Some individuals are concerned about the
potential side effects of Minoxidil and choose not to use
the topical minoxidil (packaged separately). If you do use
the Extra Strength 5% Minoxidil, read the directions
carefully before use.
As a general rule, you should consult with your physician if
you:
- Have no family history of
hair loss
- Have sudden hair loss
- Have patchy hair loss
- Do not know the reason for
your hair loss

Directions For Use
Nutrient Shampoo: For
external use only. Wet hair and scalp thoroughly with warm
water. Apply FollicareŽ Nutrient Shampoo and work into a
rich lather. Rinse and repeat.
All Natural Topical Spray:
For external use only. Apply 1 ml (6 sprays with the
spray pump applicator provided) of The FollicareŽ All
Natural Topical Spray two times a day directly onto the
scalp in the area of hair loss.
5% Extra Strenth Minoxidil:
For external use only. For use by men only. Apply 1 ml
with dropper or sprayer (6 sprays) 2x a day directly onto
the scalp in the hair loss area.
Nutritional Supplement: Take
2 caplets per day, preferably with meals.
